A Pulse Laser is a type of ship weapon in Elite: Dangerous.
Weapon Characteristics
Pulse lasers fire high-intensity light beams at a moderate fire rate, striking targets immediately when fired. Pulse lasers generate a small amount of heat and consume a moderate amount of energy when fired; however, they do not require a supply of ammunition. This makes pulse lasers a good choice as a ship weapon while exploring, as they can always be fired should the ship have enough energy to do so.
