A Energy Projectile Weapons is a category of ship weapon in Elite: Dangerous.
Weapon Characteristics
Energy Projectile weapons are similar to Energy Weapons in that a large amount of energy is consumed and heat is generated to fire the weapon but it is similar to Projectile Weapons in that there is limited ammunition and travel time of the round. There is only one Energy Projectile weapon in the game and that is the Plasma Accelerator which can be mounted on the Anaconda with its Class 4 hardpoint, or on other ships Class 2 hardpoints.
