A Burst Laser is a type of ship weapon in Elite: Dangerous.
Weapon Characteristics[]
Burst lasers fire high-intensity light beams in rapid three-shot bursts, striking targets immediately when fired. Burst lasers generate a moderate amount of heat and consume a moderate amount of energy when fired, and do not require a supply of ammunition. Burst lasers will deal less damage per shot than a pulse laser, but will deal more damage in the same amount of time due to the faster fire rate.
